OUR STORY
ni-hi was born from a lifelong relationship with art and a desire to take it beyond the canvas. Rooted in nature, craft and a deep appreciation for the human hand, we create clothing that brings together art and individuality.
Everything begins in our studio. We sketch, paint, explore colours, test fabrics and develop each garment closely. Selected pieces are individually hand-painted, so no two pieces are ever exactly the same keeping them subtly unique. We also explore handwork that complements our silhouettes, using texture and intricate details. For us, the value of handwork is not just in the technique itself, but in the time, skill and individuality it brings to a garment.
As ni-hi grows, we want to keep the process close to the hands that make it, exploring more natural materials and pigments, working with skilled artisans, developing our craft and creating pieces that feel even more personal to the people who wear them.

ni-hi was founded by Nyasa Sharma, who brings together her background in fashion design, business and fine art. As the founder and creative director, Nyasa remains at the heart of every ni-hi piece from the first brushstroke and silhouette to the choice of fabric, finishing, and final development.
I’ve always been an artist before anything else. Painting taught me how to observe and Fashion has taught me how people carry stories. At some point, the two no longer felt separate. I wanted my artwork to move, to be lived in, and to become part of someone’s everyday life instead of remaining on a wall.
Ni-hi became that meeting place.
With ni-hi, the artwork is just the beginning. Because once it leaves my studio, it’s no longer just my artwork. It becomes something you get to experience in your own way. Perhaps that is what I hope ni-hi can offer — not a way of telling you who to be or how to feel, but something that quietly stands beside you. Something that gives you space to express yourself, to feel yourself, and ultimately, to make it your own.
